The midfield star completed a successful return from a serious neck injury, finishing sixth in the best and fairest last season. An excellent return from what was a career threatening injury. The vice-captain was third in the AFL in inside 50s (119) and averaged 23 disposals a game. Carlton’s most experienced player, he wins and uses the ball exceptionally well.
