High Performance Manager

Carlton Football Club is looking for an exceptional and highly experienced High Performance Manager to join the Football Department.

The High Performance Manager reports to the Head of Football but the role is also responsible to the Senior Coach.  The incumbent is expected to develop and maintain a High Performance Program that allows all players and the team to perform successfully in the AFL.

The High Performance Manager will manage and provide leadership to a team of High Performance specialists who will be collectively responsible for delivering an elite standard player development plan for all players as part of the overall team preparation and training plan.

The successful candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Movement / Sports Science (preferably at a post graduate level), will hold strength and conditioning accreditation and have proven success in the design and implementation of high performance programs for elite athletes (preferably in the AFL industry).

The successful candidate will also have excellent interpersonal skills, sound AFL football knowledge and a proven track record in rehabilitation and injury prevention.

General Manager, Northern Blues

Carlton Football Club is looking for an exceptional and experienced individual as their General Manager, Northern Blues.

The General Manager reports jointly to the Head of Football and to the President of the Northern Blues to lead and manage all facets of the operations of the Northern Blues VFL Club.

The General Manager will be responsible for the effective management and operations of the football club (both on field and off field), as well as the facility at Preston City Oval and the staff involved in the program.  Moreover, the General Manager will also oversee the club’s sponsorship and marketing.

The incumbent will also be responsible to increase and drive revenue across club and ensure the football program is supported with the best players, staff and facilities.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated football operations and administration experience with a preference for a sound knowledge and understanding of the Northern Football League.  The candidate will also have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to manage financial operations and budget parameters in addition to the ability to drive corporate support and generate revenue.   

This position is based between Ikon Park in Carlton North and at Preston City Oval and will be offered on a full-time basis. Working extended hours during the week and on weekends will, at times, be required for this role.
