One year after being released by the Carlton Football Club in 2011, Jaryd Cachia is back in the navy blue.
After impressing recruitment staff this year with SANFL Club Norwood, the 21 year old was given a second opportunity at Carlton, courtesy of the AFL Rookie Draft.
Speaking exclusively to CFC TV, Jaryd said it was no certainty he would end up back at Carlton.
“I kept in contact with Shane Rogers (National Recruiting Manager), and he said there were a few pieces of the puzzle that had to fall in place for me to get a shot at coming back here,” he said.
“I am so excited things worked in my favour, it really is a second chance and I plan to make the most of every opportunity that comes my way,” he said.
