Around 100 RMIT University exchange students were given an introduction to Australian rules football this week as part of the Carlton Football Club’s “I AM New Blue” program.

The session aimed to teach the basics of football and help the students understand Melbourne’s unique football culture.

Students from all over the globe participated in a football clinic and enjoyed watching ‘Blues’ highlights from years past. Understandably, the Andrew Walker ‘specky’ was a real crowd pleaser!

Through providing these sorts of opportunities to international and multicultural students, the Club hopes to enrich their educational experience and help them integrate into local communities.
