All members of Carlton’s senior playing group, together with the coaches led by Mick Malthouse, have made a solemn visit to the Shrine of Remembrance to pay their respects to those men and women who bravely served and who gave their lives in wartime.

For today’s players, this was a chance to learn about a significant part of Australia’s history as well as reflect on those who died in the field of mortal combat.

The players were given a personal tour of the Shrine, learning about mateship and sacrifice before taking part in a minute’s silence to remember the fallen.
