Carlton players faced a chilly training session at the St Kilda Sea Baths this week.

Players took part in a light skills session, before heading into the icy water.

Assistant Coach Brad Green says the change of scenery is about helping the players refocus.

"It’s a bit of change up for the guys to get them out of Visy Park for a day and down to the beach. It’s a beautiful morning and it’s all about freshening the mind up."

There's mixed news on the injury front ahead of Saturday's clash with Greater Western Sydney at Etihad Stadium.

The Blues welcome back Chris Yarran who hasn't played since suffering a hamstring injury in Round 7.

But Kane Lucas is out for a week with a hamstring strain, and Andrew Carrazzo is still recovering from his injured calf.

Meanwhile the Carlton Football Club has launched an exciting 3 Game Membership, offering a reserved seat at the Round 12 blockbuster against Hawthorn, plus general admission to any two home games.
