OVERVIEW
Irishman Zach Tuohy enjoyed his best season to date in 2013. He was one of just five players to run out for all 24 of Carlton’s games, and finished the season ranked 12th in the league for percentage of time spent on the ground.

Known for his big kicking, Tuohy continued to excite fans with his long bombs for goal. He contributed a total of 13 goals for the season, and averaged 12.7 disposals per game.

In Round 21, Tuohy became just the second Carlton player to notch up his 50th AFL game in the number 42 – joining Carlton Legend Robert Walls who previously wore the jumper.

Across the globe, the 23-year-old also starred for the Irish, being named Man of the Match in the first Test of the International Rules Series in Ireland.

HE SAID IT
“Mick's in his first year of coaching the club. Not many coaches come straight in and get success; there is a time of adjustment.

"You can’t question Mick's coaching criteria and the kind of man he is. He's been really good for the club and we're definitely heading in the right direction,”

– Zach Tuohy media conference, 30 July 2013.
