Carlton will regain Andrew Carrazzo and Andrew Walker for Sunday's clash with Essendon at the MCG.

Both players have been named in the Blues' 25-man squad.

Walker returns after serving a one-match suspension, while Carrazzo is set to play his first match for 2014 after overcoming a calf injury.

Carlton ruckman Matthew Kreuzer has not been named, after the decision was made for the 24-year-old to undergo surgery on his injured foot.

Kreuzer is expected to be sidelined for 12-14 weeks.

The Blues and the Bombers will name their final teams tomorrow.

Meanwhile new recruits Patrick Cripps, Cameron Giles, Nick Holman, Luke Reynolds, Blaine Johnson, Cameron Wood and Ciaran Sheehan will make their debut for the Northern Blues in their Round 1 clash with Williamstown on Sunday.

Irish rookie Ciaran Byrne is set to play in the Development team.
