Recent Form
Carlton’s been in the firing line this week after a disappointing start to season 2014. The Blues have struggled to maintain a consistent effort over four quarters, but have shown glimpses of what they are capable of against both Port Adelaide and Richmond. In the wake of a barrage of criticism players have vowed to come out firing this week, as they chase their first win of the season.

In contrast, the Western Bulldogs have two wins on the board. After a shaky start to the season with a 69-point loss to West Coast in Round 1, the Bulldogs have bounced back to record wins over Richmond and Greater Western Sydney. They will bring momentum into the clash, having launched a spirited fightback against the Giants last weekend to win by 27-points.

Possible Team Changes
The Bulldogs will be forced to make at least one change for Sunday’s clash, with Dale Morris out suspended. It’s another blow to the Doggies defense, which was already missing Jordan Roughead who has been sidelined with a shoulder injury.

Young Bulldog Fletcher Roberts is a chance to come into the side. The 20-year-old has played just two senior AFL games, back in 2012.

Carlton will regain Mitch Robinson who was a late withdrawal against Melbourne, while Chris Judd may return for his first match of the season. But Michael Jamison and Troy Menzel are under an injury cloud.

Tom Bell and Brock McLean pushed their case for selection after impressing in the VFL, while Jarrad Waite and Jeff Garlett could also be recalled.
