Carlton’s Mitch Robinson appears set for another stint on the sidelines after being booked for rough conduct by the AFL’s Match Review Panel.

Robinson has been charged with a Level Two Engaging in Rough Conduct Offence for an incident involving Kangaroo Leigh Adams in the first quarter of Friday night’s clash at Etihad Stadium.

The Carlton hard-nut is facing a two-match suspension.

The match marked Robinson’s 100th AFL game, but also his first game back from a previous two-match ban.

Due to his poor record, Robinson is unable to reduce the sanction even with an early plea.

Based on the video evidence available and a medical report from the North Melbourne Football Club, the Match Review Panel has assessed the incident as negligent conduct, medium impact and high contact.

Carlton has until tomorrow to decide whether to accept the penalty of challenge the charge at the AFL Tribunal.
