On Friday 25 July 2014, close to 200 Young Carlton Professionals (YCP) Members and guests attended PricewaterhouseCoopers for the YCP Business Breakfast.

Hosted by James Thomson, The Australian Financial Review's Companies and Markets Editor, attendees were treated to an insightful and inspiring panel discussion regarding “Innovation in Business and Technology”.

The impressive panel of speakers consisted of some of Australia's most successful entrepreneurs and industry 'disrupters' - Paul Bassat (Square Peg Capital/founder of SEEK), Adam Schwab (founder of AussieCommerce Group) and Adrian Giles (founder of Adslot and Hitwise).

The panel discussion was an exposition into the different paths each panel member took to starting and growing their businesses, with the panellists providing considerable insight into the many challenges they faced along the way and what they tip to be the next big tech trends.

New Carlton Football Club President Mark LoGuidice gave his inaugural address as President to YCP and provided a brief snapshot of both his and the Club’s plans for 2015.
