John Nicholls, the legendary five-time Carlton Best and Fairest and three-time Premiership player recently voted this club’s greatest footballer in 150 years, will make a guest appearance at this Saturday’s Memorabilia and Collectibles Day at Visy Park.

“Big Nick” has graciously agreed to grace the place with his substantial presence and sign autographs, on a day in which supporters are encouraged to come along armed with their precious items of Carlton history for what is effectively a show and tell.

The Club’s journalist and historian Tony De Bolfo will be on hand for the viewing of supporters’ photographs, films, trophies and any other items relevant to Carlton history.

Jamie Sanderson, who developed the renowned club website The Blueseum, will also be available, as will Australian football card researcher and Carlton devotee Damien Green.

The club encourages all to share your stories behind your most treasured Carlton memorabilia and collectables at Visy Park this Saturday, as like-minded history buffs gather at the Carlton heartland to savour the Club’s rich 150-year history.

The Carlton Memorabilia and Collectibles event runs from 11am-1pm this Saturday (August 23) event, in the George Harris Function Room, Visy Park, while The Carlton Shop will also be open during normal Saturday operating hours 9am-2pm.

You will also have the opportunity to win an exclusive door prize on the day which is the 150th Anniversary ‘Fine Art’ memorabilia piece.
