The Carlton Football Club congratulates Rumbalara Football Club on its historic Grand Final win against rivals Finley in the Murray Football League. 

Rumbalara came back from 40-points down to win the match in front of a record home crowd in the Riverina town of Moama. 

Star player Brad Dick was crowned hero of the match after kicking the winning goal with less than two minutes remaining in the game. 

Whilst Best on Ground honours went to Levi Power and Dylan Kerr was named the Player of the Finals. 

Rumbalara Football Club has a rich and proud history in the Murray-Goulburn region, of which the Yorta Yorta people are the traditional owners. 

Carlton player and proud Yorta Yorta man Andrew Walker was thrilled to have witnessed the match. 

“Congrats to the Rumba boys,” said Walker. 

“It was an amazing comeback from behind to win their final on the weekend. It was an awesome game to watch!"
