Head to today.

The Carlton Football Club is proud to support White Ribbon Day to put a stop to violence against women.

In acknowledging the importance of the White Ribbon Foundation, the Club in conduction with Carlton Local Agencies Network (CLAN) marked the occasion with a gathering at the Carlton High Rise Estates on Friday.

The afternoon saw guest speakers from various local agencies including the Metropolitan Fire Brigade, Victoria Police and the City of Melbourne.

Carlton's Fan Development and Diversity Coordinator Doug Stevenson says this is one of the many examples of the Blues working alongside other community organisations.

"This is an extremely important initiative that aims to eliminate all forms of violence against women,” Stevenson said.

“The Carlton Football Club is proud to be part of the initiative.”
