Carlton players are preparing to head north to meet Blues supporters in Shepparton.

The Blues will embark on a two-day community camp from February 17-18.

Players will visit local hospitals and community organisations, and conduct training clinics with kids from local schools.

Carlton’s Andrew Walker is from the region, having grown up in Echuca. Walker will take time during the camp to help educate his teammates about his indigenous heritage, while the Blues will train at the Rumbalara Football Netball Club with selected players and coaches from the local area.
