Carlton players joined the fundraising effort for the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal last week, which has raised a record $17.1 million dollars.

Players including Chris Judd, Kade Simpson, Lachie Henderson, Chris Yarran and Bryce Gibbs spread some Easter cheer by visiting children in the hospital on Friday, including avid Carlton supporter Carter Savage, whose journey the Blues have been closely following.

Meanwhile vice-captain Michael Jamison and Rob Warnock spent time taking calls from generous donors in the phone room at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
