Last Week’s Events

Bryce Gibbs (MID, $578,000) was back to his best despite a disappointing result against the Eagles with 26 touches and an impressive 12 tackles for a team high 112. Andrejs Everitt (DEF/MID, $429,000) was very impressive, taking nine marks and kicking a goal on his way to 101 and Sam Docherty (DEF, $475,000) continued his good form with ten marks and 100 points. The ever reliable Kade Simpson (DEF, $522,000) did his job with 91, picking up plenty of ball across half back while Levi Casboult (FWD, $370,000) worked his way into the game in his season debut and scored an impressive 91.

On The Radar

With many popular Fantasy defenders struggling with consistency over the first two games, the Blues have a couple of unique options. As mentioned above, Everitt continued his good form and holds a valuable link to the midfield with his dual position status. He is averaging 91 points per game and has a break-even of 55. Docherty is the man though, owned by only five per cent of the competition and averaging 104 points per game. He has a break-even of 58 and is great value!

Top Scorers

Bryce Gibbs 125
Andrejs Everitt 101
Sam Docherty 100
Zach Tuohy 97
Marc Murphy 93

What’s Coming Up?

Last time the Blues met the Bombers, Gibbs was tagged to 87, so tread carefully there although I still expect him to post triple figures. Kade Simpson looks set to continue his solid start to the year after knocking up 100 in the last meeting and the man of the moment Docherty scored 92 last time and can hopefully step it up a little further to maintain his season average.
