Carlton's Levi Casboult has been nominated for the AFL's Weet-Bix Mark of the Year for a powerful pack mark in Friday night's game against Hawthorn.

Casboult launched himself over the top of Hawks Brian Lake and Ben McEvoy to take the grab inside the Blues' forward 50 – all three players crashed to the turf with the ball still safely in Casboult's hands.

It's the first time this season Casboult has been nominated for Mark of the Year – he was a finalist for the award in 2014.

The AFL is giving fans the chance to vote for their favourite mark and goal each week to be in the running for a weekly cash prize of $200 and a major cash prize of $5000 at the end of the season.
