OVERVIEW
After another consistent season, Sam Rowe added a milestone in to his career, playing in his 50th AFL game.

It’s been a long journey since overcoming testicular cancer in 2012, but the ever-dependable Rowe provided a calm voice in Carlton’s defense.

The 27-year-old is ranked No. 1 at the Club for one percenters and eighth in the entire competition – a testament to his commitment and competitiveness.

In Round 9 against the Swans when Marc Murphy, Bryce Gibbs and Michael Jamison were all out with injury, Rowe demonstrated his leadership qualities by co-captaining the side.

HE SAID IT
“The only way we can turn it around is to actually play good football rather than just saying things all the time. Winning games is what we've got to do."

- Sam Rowe, speaking after the Round 5 loss to Collingwood.

THEY SAID IT
“He’s got this mindset where he just gives effort and when he does that, he keeps improving. He’s just a hard-worker by nature. Having players like Sam who can play back and forward gives you that flexibility.”

- Carlton’s interim senior coach John Barker talking about Rowe ahead of the 2015 season.

SEASON HIGHLIGHT
In Round 6, when the Blues took on the Lions at Etihad Stadium, Rowe had a total of 14 one percenters, more than any other player on the ground.
