OVERVIEW
It was Cameron Wood’s second year at Carlton and it saw the big man run out for 18 games in the navy blue.

With Mathew Kreuzer and Rob Warnock injured for most of the season, Wood continually held his own in the ruck and made contests for his teammates all over the ground.

The big-man managed to bag a few goals too, kicking two against Collingwood in Round 5 and singles against GWS, Sydney and Port Adelaide.

In the Round 5 clash against his old side, Wood took Carlton’s mark of the week. Running back with the flight of the ball – arms outstretched – Wood caught the footy with his fingertips and dragged it into his chest while sliding onto his knees.

HE SAID IT
“I went into the same talk last year not knowing much about bowel cancer and some of the statistics really surprised me. I then shared some photos through social media and some of my friends – and even people I didn’t know – contacted me and said it’s a great cause and get behind it.”

- Cam Wood is an ambassador of the Jodi Lee Foundation, an organisation promoting bowel cancer awareness. Wood spoke to media ahead of the JLF match against Adelaide in Round 10.

THEY SAID IT
