Dennis Armfield will run out in the Navy Blue for the first time in 2016 when the Blues face Essendon at the MCG on Sunday afternoon.

Armfield joins Nick Graham as the club’s inclusions for the clash against the arch-rival, while Dylan Buckley (calf) and Charlie Curnow (illness) will miss.

Recent recruit Matthew Wright will also notch up his 100-game milestone on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Essendon has made three changes, recalling Ryan Crowley, Jonathan Simpkin and James Polkinghorne at the expense of Craig Bird, Martin Gleeson and Conor McKenna.
