The Carlton House is taking shape – with internal works beginning this week!

Back in May the Club announced its exciting three-way partnership with Orbit Homes and Brown Property Group, to sell a brand new property in the Highgrove community located in Clyde North, in Melbourne’s south-east.

As a result of the collaboration, the new house and land package will be auctioned off later this year, with proceeds from the auction benefitting some key community groups in the local community as well as the Club.

Since the slab was poured in May, all the external parts of the home have been complete including, framing, brickwork, plumbing, electrical, roof and fascia, as well as the overall façade.

Construction is underway on the Carlton House.

This means the house can now be locked up and is ready for internal works to begin.

Cabinetry installation, fitting plaster, floor tiling – including waterproofing wet areas – and painting will all start this week.

Once the four-bedroom, two-bathroom, double-garage family home is complete, it will no doubt combine proven practicality with attractive lifestyle features.

Its attributes include a covered outdoor space extending beyond the main living area to create a free-flowing indoor-outdoor feel, and the separate second living area also makes a perfect retreat for parents or children alike.

Carlton players Sam Rowe and Andrew Phillips will be visiting the site next Thursday, with both players currently acquiring skills in the construction industry.
