Milestone: Bryce Gibbs

Bryce Gibbs will play his 200th AFL game on Saturday against the Giants.

Gibbs arrived at the Blues at the end of 2006, after being selected by Carlton with the No. 1 pick in the national draft. After making his debut in Round 1 2007 against Richmond, ‘Gibba’ went on to receive a Rising Star nomination in Round 10 and won the Club’s best and fairest in 2014. Heading into 2015, Gibbs had played a remarkable 177 games out of a possible 182, but back and pectoral injuries meant he had to wait another year to crack his 200-game milestone.

Step Back Think

Selected Carlton players will wear orange bootlaces this weekend to show their support for anti-violence organisation, Step Back Think.

This week marks Step Back Think’s Team Lace Up campaign. The campaign aims to raise awareness around the causes and consequences of social violence, by encouraging Australian sporting clubs of all codes, levels and ages, to show their commitment to ending social violence by wearing orange laces.
