History will be made on Saturday night when a third-generation Silvagni lines up for the Blues at the MCG.

Jack Silvagni will make his much-anticipated debut for Carlton when the side faces Collingwood.

Jack’s father Stephen played 312 games, while his grandfather Serge played 239 games for the Blues.

Andrew Walker has also been named, meaning he will reach game No.200 and become the Blues’ first Indigenous player to reach the significant milestone.

Jason Tutt has been omitted from the side and has been named as an emergency alongside Dylan Buckley and Mark Whiley.

Meanwhile, Collingwood has also named a father-son recruit in its team, with Darcy Moore returning the Magpies' line-up.

Moore joins experienced defender Tyson Goldsack as Collingwood's inclusions, with Jesse White and Jonathon Marsh omitted.
