Calling all Bendigo-based Blues supporters!

Carlton’s women’s team will hold one of its weekly training sessions in Bendigo on Friday 9 December – and we’d love to see you there.

With four players hailing from the local area, including Hayley Trevean, Jessica Kennedy, Bella Ayre and Sarah Last, it’s a great chance for family, friends and supporters to watch the team train.

Arriving on the Carlton bus in the early evening, the women will hit the track at Tom Flood Sports Centre from 6:30pm.

It will be the first time the entire team will travel together since its inaugural training session on 23 November.

Senior women’s coach Damien Keeping says he’s looking forward to hitting the road with the newly-formed squad.

“This is a really great opportunity for us to connect with the Bendigo community and create a sense of belonging for our regional supporters,” Keeping said.

“Travelling as a team also helps build strong relationships between the players, coaches and staff, so the visit will be really beneficial as we continue to bond as group.

“The Bendigo Thunder and the Bendigo Pioneers will also be training around the same time, so we’d love to see as many people as possible at Tom Flood oval.”
