Carlton Football Club has achieved a significant membership milestone, passing 30,000 members ahead of Christmas.

It is the first time in the Club’s history that 30,000 members have signed up by the end of the first week of December.

CEO Steven Trigg praised Carlton’s members for their valued support ahead of the Club's second season under coach Brendon Bolton in 2017.

“This is a really pleasing result and credit goes to all our Blues supporters who have signed on as members before the year’s end,” Trigg said.

“There is a real sense of growth at our club at the moment, and collectively, our members can see that, so I’m confident this result just shows we are on the right track.

“We would love our unsigned supporters to join as members ahead of the 2017 season as we continue our journey next year and beyond.”

The Club’s official membership tally currently stands at 30,735.
