The Blues have helped VicHealth launch its new #ChangeOurGame campaign, with the Club continuing its commitment to driving support of female athletes.

Held at Etihad Stadium on Tuesday, the launch united sportswomen from the AFL Women’s League, Women’s Big Bash League and Women’s National Basketball League with Carlton’s AFL Women's captain Lauren Arnell and CEO Steven Trigg among the guests.

The campaign - developed in line with the State Government’s initiative encouraging all Victorians to support gender equality in sport – will see VicHealth promote an equal playing field for female athletes.

In order to break down stereotypes of women’s sport and inspire future sporting stars, the campaign calls all Victorians to change their attitudes to #ChangeOurGame.

Through it’s Changing Our Game: Advancing Gender Equality in Sport for Women and Girls program, VicHealth strives to increase the profile of female sport, create new opportunities for female participation and ensure inclusive sporting environments.

The Blues host Collingwood at Ikon Park on Friday night in the inaugural AFLW season opener, with entry free for what will undoubtedly be a momentous occasion for women's sport.
