The Carlton Football Club hosted its annual club Family Day on Saturday – and what a treat it was!

The event, proudly presented by Hyundai, saw an eager Blues faithful flock to Princes Park’s Northern Lawn long before the event’s official start time.

Bluebaggers of all ages posed for photos with their favourite players and introduced themselves to our new recruits – welcoming them on their first Family Day.

Fans also took the opportunity to update their autograph books as well as the numbers stitched on the back of their own Carlton jumpers.

The Hyundai Engine Room hot-seat and the ‘Discussions with Dylan’ couch proved popular among the crowd and with face painting, a jumping castle and handball throws all on offer, Princes Park was the place to be.

Comedian and lifelong Carlton supporter Andy Lee presented the 2017 playing group with its Carlton guernseys and familiarised Blues fans with the side’s newest team members.

At the conclusion of the presentation, the squad departed Family Day to attend the Carlton AFLW team’s Round 2 clash against GWS at Ikon Park.

In an excellent display of club unity and support, the men formed a guard of honour on Carlton’s home turf before they – along with the crowd – applauded the Game Changers as they ran out onto their home turf.

The Carlton Football Club would like to thank the Bluebaggers who attended the fun-filled day and we look forward to your support throughout the 2017 season.
