A partnership between two premium brands was on full display at the Round 1 clash on Thursday night at the MCG.

Broadening their partnership with the Carlton Football Club for a further two years, Virgin Australia is now the ‘Business Class’ partner and official airline partner of the Blues.

An exciting new element of their partnership is the naming rights of the exclusive, boutique match-day functions, including the Carlton President’s Club by Virgin Australia.

At the Carlton President’s Club by Virgin Australia, incoming Director and former Blues captain Chris Judd was joined by another club captain in Mike Fitzpatrick as well as Melbourne Victory coach Kevin Muscat and Carlton President Mark LoGiudice.

Meanwhile entertainer and passionate Blues supporter Andy Lee attended the new-look Virgin Australia Carlton Lounge on Thursday night at the MCG - Harrison Room.

Available for four games only this year, the Virgin Australia Carlton Lounge includes premium beverages, pre-game and half-time fare, premium level 2 reserved seating and player appearance as well as stadium car parking.

Virgin Australia is also the Carltonian’s Match Day Function naming rights partner.
