Vote for Gibbs!

Gibbs' masterclass Bryce Gibbs dominates with a staggering 43 disposals, 10 tackles and two clutch goals.

A crucial fourth-quarter goal during Carlton’s clash with Gold Coast has landed midfielder Bryce Gibbs a Round 13 nomination for the AFL’s Goal of the Year.

With a classy baulk around Gold Coast’s Pearce Hanley, Gibbs booted the major from 40 metres out to edge the Blues back in front after the Suns stole the lead midway through the final term.

The string of play that began when the 28-year-old collected the ball from a Matthew Kreuzer tap, involved leaders Ed Curnow, Marc Murphy and Patrick Cripps, before Gibbs regained possession and executed the six-points.
