The Blues have made six changes to their line-up for Saturday’s clash against Adelaide at the MCG.

Ciaran Sheehan is set to make his first return to senior football since 2014, having been recalled to the side alongside David Cuningham, Zac Fisher, Sam Kerridge, Simon White and Liam Sumner.

The 26-year-old last took to the field in Round 4, 2014 before he was struck with an unfortunate string of injuries. Sheehan, from County Cork was taken as a rookie in 2014 and was so promising he played in the opening four games of that season, impressing all with his left-foot kick out of defence.

Ed Curnow (larynx) and Jed Lamb (concussion) have both been sidelined due to injury, while omitted trio Blaine Boekhorst, Billie Smedts and Jarrod Pickett and first-year player Samo Petrevski-Seton (managed) also exit the side which suffered a 26-point defeat to Richmond.

Ciaran Byrne, Harry McKay and Cameron Polson have all been listed as emergencies.
