Carlton captain Marc Murphy and vice-captain Kade Simpson could both be celebrating very special milestones at the home of footy this season.

The skipper looks set to play his 250th game, while ‘Simmo’, who currently sits on 286 games, is likely to record his 300th match in the navy blue.

It’s a big year for player milestones, with a number of other players notching up their 50th, 100th and 150th games.

Forward-turned-defender Liam Jones looks likely to crack through the 100-game barrier, as could fellow backman Sam Rowe.

Matthew Wright, who arrived at the Club from Adelaide on 94 games, could play his 150th AFL match in Round 13 against Fremantle, while Levi Casboult is on track to record his 100th game in Round 6 against the Bulldogs.

Three members of the 2015 draft class could hit the 50-game mark, with Jacob Weitering on 42 games, Jack Silvagni on 28 and Charlie Curnow on 27.
