CARLTON forward Tayla Harris has been being charged with striking Brisbane Lions half back Leah Kaslar.

The incident took place during Saturday night’s clash between Carlton and Brisbane during its third quarter.

The incident was assessed as intentional conduct with low impact to the head, based on a medical report from the Brisbane Lions Football Club and video evidence. Harris was handed a two-match sanction, but can accept a one match ban if she does not appear before the Tribunal.

Carlton forward Katie Loynes was also charged following Saturday’s match, but will not miss Round Four if she accepts a reprimand without appearing before the Tribunal.

Loynes was charged with engaging in rough conduct against Brisbane’s Arianna Clarke during Saturday night’s first quarter, with the incident assessed as careless conduct with low impact to the head. She can accept a reprimand.
