Leading business figures representing national and global companies converged at Metropolis Events on Wednesday night, as the Club’s flagship business network, Carlton IN Business, held its ‘Leaders of Industry’ evening.

With 90 companies a part of the Carlton IN Business (CIB) program, the event aimed to cultivate genuine business opportunities and expand corporate networks for members in the room.

Carlton President Mark LoGiudice and Group Executive at Virgin Australia, Rob Sharp, were both guest speakers on the night, with LoGiudice highlighting the importance of Carlton’s business network and the positive impact it has on the Club.

“These events provide a great opportunity to integrate the Carlton network; and ties with our overall core value at Carlton – to belong,” LoGiudice said.

“It is these unique experiences that allow our networks to cultivate relationships and most importantly, facilitate real and mutually beneficial opportunities for businesses.

“The Carlton IN Business program is an essential component of the business operations of our football club and it continues to go from strength to strength – we currently have 90 companies in the CIB program, which includes our associate members in Sydney, and we hope for this number to grow.”

More than 100 guests attended the evening, including GM Global corporate and industry sales at Virgin Australia, Ann Elliott, Chief Operating Officer at Hyundai Motor Group Australia, Scott Grant, CEO of JB Hi-Fi, Richard Murray, CEO of PwC and Carlton Board member Luke Sayers and Chief Executive Officer at Etihad Stadium, Michael Green.
