RICHARD PRATT CUP

Carlton and Collingwood will once again battle it out for the Richard Pratt Cup on Friday night at the MCG. Since 2009, the Blues and Pies have played for the Richard Pratt Cup to raise awareness around prostate cancer in Australian men.

The match is played in memory of former Carlton president Richard Pratt, who passed away from the disease. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in Australian men.

RING OF HONOUR: PETER 'PERCY' JONES

Carlton’s four-time premiership player Peter ‘Percy’ Jones will ring the historic old Blue bell at the top of Carlton’s race 15 minutes prior to the first bounce, before being inducted into the Carlton Ring of Honour on Friday night.

Jones played 249 games for the Blues and kicked 284 goals in a career spanning between 1966 and 1979. He won Carlton’s best and fairest in 1973, coached the Blues in 1980 and was inducted into the Club’s Hall of Fame in 1988. A truly unique personality on and off the field, Jones is one of the most memorable characters in Carlton’s long history.
