CARLTON'S Ed Curnow and Charlie Curnow will both face the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday evening after being charged with making intentional contact with umpires in Saturday’s win against Essendon.

The pair have been referred directly to the Tribunal, having been charged with making intentional contact with umpires Nathan Williamson and Matt Stevic during the third quarter of Saturday’s game.

The AFL outlines that intentional contact with an umpire is a direct referral to the Tribunal; and no early plea is available to a player.

Patrick Cripps has been charged with making careless contact with fellow umpire Eleni Glouftsis during the second quarter of the Blues’ clash against the Bombers.

The 23-year-old can accept a $1000 sanction with an early plea.

Meanwhile, Jed Lamb has also been charged with misconduct against Essendon player Mark Baguley during the third quarter. With an early plea, Lamb can accept a $1500 sanction with an early plea.
