Visy Park is the official home base of the Carlton Football Club and the exciting redevelopment project will make Visy Park a landmark sport and community precinct at Princes Park. The $18million redevelopment will create a multi-faceted super venue for sport, community and the environment.

The Heatley and Harris Stands were demolished in 2008 and have been replaced by a construction site. The construction of the new elite sporting facility is progressing very well and the team is expected to be using the new facilities for pre-Christmas training this year.

The planning for the redevelopment has focused on a range of elements to be incorporated into the new building, including high performance training, medical and rehabilitation areas, office facilities, community facilities and Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD) initiatives.

Redevelopment Update: May 2009

It was not long ago that the western end of Visy Park was open to Royal Parade as construction work commenced on the project. Today the building is taking shape with the installation of the roof more than half complete.

Activity continues to ensure the building is finished later this year.

Carlton supporters can support this exciting new development with donations via the Australian Sports Foundation or through the 2008 Carlton raffle. Each ticket in the raffle is $200 and the grand prize is a Hyundai i30 valued at $30,000
