Carlton Football Club together with our Sustainability Partner Visy have developed an innovative schools program called The VISY Enviromaniacs, Live @ CFC.

The aim of the program is for Carlton Football Club and Visy to demonstrate how primary school students can leave a positive environmental footprint, through increased awareness of recycling, water management and energy saving. This will be achieved through sharing of ideas between students and players plus interactive football activities that also highlight the need for a healthy and active lifestyle.

Details for the Visit
Venue
All clinics will be held at the new facilities at Carlton Football Clubs home ground Visy Park.

Player involvement
Three of the fifteen Ambassadors will be in attendance conducting the Clinic. Please be aware that there will be certain clinics where players will be unable to attend, these sessions will be conducted by Anthony Koutoufides.

Target age group
Grade 5/6 with maximum of 60 students at each session.

Length of school visit
Each visit will go for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Transportation
All transportation to and from Visy Park is the responsibility of the visiting school. If you need further information regarding this, please contact Lyndall on the details provided below.

School Requirements
To ensure that this program is successful, and the students gain the most benefit out of the clinic, all schools involved prior to the day are required to;
-    Fill out attached form to register your preferred date and time for the visitation.
-    Brief the students in regards to the clinic and the pending visit to Visy Park.
-    Ensure that a teacher is present throughout the duration of the clinic to maintain an appropriate ‘Duty of Care’ for all participants.
-    Ensure each student has competed and bought their Visy Enviromaniacs Workbook to the Clinic.
-    Any feedback from the teaching staff in regards to the program is always welcomed and appreciated.
