VFL Women’s Senior Coach

The Carlton Football Club is seeking an experienced VFL Women’s Senior Coach to lead and drive the coaching and development of the Club’s VFLW team.

Reporting to the General Manager – Women’s Football, and working closely with the AFLW Senior Coach, the VFLW Senior Coach will be responsible in leading and executing the Club’s VFL Women’s Football strategy. They will ensure the VFL Women’s Football environment cultivates a culture that is conducive of positive learning, wellbeing and growth, where VFLW players can develop and thrive not only as players, but as people.

Furthermore, the incumbent will assist with the development and implementation of the coaching panel, football program and match day coaching strategy in line with the Carlton VFLW Philosophy. They will also assist in the recruitment, retention and delisting of VFLW players.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, while representing and supporting the Club with any initiatives for the promotion of the VFLW program, and the Carlton Football Club brand. They will also be able to foster a strong performance culture, where the team values are consistently met by the playing group.

Senior Corporate Sales Executive

The Carlton Football Club is seeking a Senior Corporate Sales Executive to join their Commercial Operations team.

Reporting to the Head of Sales, this newly created position will play a key role in driving commercial revenue for the Club through an extensive network of clients.

The Senior Corporate Sales Executive will work collaboratively with the boarder Commercial team in identifying revenue opportunities, converting new business, nurturing existing clients and providing support across all commercial revenue streams.

The successful candidate will be relentless in their pursuit of sales targets, will demonstrate an exceptional level of customer centricity and will have the ability to generate and maintain strong relationships with a variety of clients and stakeholders.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience in corporate sales either within the AFL or sports industry, will be a team player with the ability to also work on multiple projects autonomously and will have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

This position will be offered on a full time and ongoing basis and will be based at Ikon Park in Carlton North. The Senior Corporate Sales Executive will be required to work outside of standard business hours including evenings and weekends as required. A competitive remuneration package will be offered for the right candidate and commensurate with relevant skills and experience.

Creative Manager

The Club is seeking a Creative Manager to join their Communications and Marketing team.

The Creative Manager will lead the overall brand and design components across the Club, in relation to the development and execution of major creative campaigns, brand management, graphic design, and corporate publications across traditional and digital platforms.

The position involves working collaboratively with the Club’s Communications and Marketing team (Digital / Marketing, Media and Community), with core responsibility for the planning, implementation, creation and delivery of the entire Club’s visual asset suite.

The Creative Manager will also focus strongly on representing and connecting with key stakeholders of the Carlton community – including over 64,000 dedicated members and more than 700,000 passionate supporters.

A strong focus on commercial, consumer and digital deliverables will also be a key aspect, with the Creative Manager overseeing brand essence and integrity across the business key objectives.

In addition to tertiary qualifications in design, the successful candidate will be an experienced leader with demonstrated ability to develop and lead staff, manage performance and provide growth opportunities. With exceptional levels of attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects and outstanding interpersonal skills, the Creative Manager will also be a technical expert in Adobe tools including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
