Arguably the greatest player of the modern era and a Carlton champion, Chris Judd has been immortalised tonight with induction into the Australian Football Hall of Fame.

A superstar across two different states, both in the Navy Blue guernsey and over in the West, Judd enters the Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility.

The 37-year-old becomes the 22nd Carlton player to receive the prestigious honour.

Judd played 279 games across 14 seasons for both West Coast and Carlton after being selected with the third overall pick in the 2001 NAB AFL Draft.

He pulled on the Navy Blue guernsey on 145 occasions, after arriving at IKON Park in 2007, a year after leading the Eagles to a Premiership.

Judd captained the Blues from 2008–12, during that time winning his second Brownlow Medal in 2010, earning All Australian honours in four of his five seasons as skipper for a career total of six (2004, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011) as well as three consecutive John Nicholls Medals (2008 – 2010).

That is only a sample of his incredible list of careers accomplishments that also include; Norm Smith Medallist (2005), two-time Leigh Matthew Trophy winner (AFLPA MVP) (2006 and 2011), two-time West Coast Club Champion (2004 and 2006), three-time Ross Glendinning Medallist (2005, 2005 and 2006), AFLPA Best First Year Player (2002) as well as AFL, Carlton and West Coast Life Membership.
