ONE DAY, two games, two squads.

Carlton has announced its extended sides for both AFL and VFL practice matches to take place at IKON Park tomorrow afternoon.

The Blues have named four new faces in the senior line-up, including off-season recruits Adam Cerra and George Hewett, who have slotted into the midfield rotation seamlessly this summer.

Last year’s mid-season draftees Jordan Boyd and Alex Mirkov have also been named, with Mirkov included in both senior and reserve squads.

The extended squads means there are some double-ups across AFL and VFL sides, with final teams to be confirmed on the morning of the game.

Charlie Curnow is named to spearhead the Carlton attack, while Oscar McDonald and Mitch McGovern are likely to be alongside co-vice captain Jacob Weitering in defence.

It will also be the first time that Carlton's first-round duo from the 2019 NAB AFL Draft, Brodie Kemp and Sam Philp, will feature in the same side. Last year's draft selection Jesse Motlop is one of eight Blues also currently named for the Carlton Reserves in his first appearance for the football club.

The AFL game will take place across four 30-minute flat quarters, while the VFL contest will be four 25-minute quarters. The senior side’s first practice match of the season will commence at 10am, with the Carlton Reserves to follow at 1pm.

Fans who can’t head to tomorrow’s AFL game can tune in via Kayo, while tickets - which are free for members - can still be purchased here.
