Carlton has re-signed two more players, Simon White and Frazer Dale, in preparation for the 2013 season with both players signing for one year.

After overcoming a series of long-term injuries, defender Simon White finished 2012 in strong form, playing out the final five games of the season.

“Simon has battled some really unfortunate injures in his first three years at the club, but his performances in the final games of the season were really encouraging,” Carlton’s General Manager of Football, Andrew McKay said.

“Hopefully with a full pre-season under his belt, he can continue to improve and really establish himself as a vital member of our back six.”

The former West Australian was selection No. 56 in the 2010 Rookie Draft and was elevated to the senior list later that year.

The 190cm defender made his debut in Round 4, 2010 against Adelaide at AAMI Stadium and has now played 17 senior games.

Young Rookie Frazer Dale has also re-signed as a Rookie with the Club for next season after playing two senior games this year.

“Frazer will continue to grow and develop, he is only young but he definitely showed some really promising signs throughout the year,” McKay said.

“He has now had a taste of senior football and knows what is required to take his game to the next level.”

Frazer was selection No. 50 in the 2011 Rookie Draft and made his debut at Etihad Stadium in Round 17 against the Western Bulldogs after being elevated to the senior list.

In further positive news for Carlton, McKay confirmed that International Rookie Zach Tuohy has been elevated to Carlton’s Senior List for 2013.
