Would you like to own a piece of Carlton history? The Carlton Football Club is giving you the chance!

This weekend, all players across the AFL's 18 clubs will run up the race wearing their surname on the back of their guernsey – a first for the AFL.

The Blues will don theirs during the Sunday twilight clash against the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium.

In an effort to recognise the incredible work of the Royal Children's Hospital, the Club will auction off all of the match-worn jumpers along with those of other Carlton-listed players*, with proceeds going to the Good Friday Appeal.

Each guernsey available for auction will be signed by its respective player.

BIDDING IS NOW OPEN and will close at 5pm on Thursday 24 April.

Meanwhile, replica name guernseys bearing the names of Murphy, Judd and Thomas are available to purchase at the Carlton Shop.

But get in quick as numbers are strictly limited!
