Carlton’s National Recruiting Manager Shane Rogers has re-committed to the Blues, after agreeing to a new three-year contract.

Rogers took charge of the Blues recruiting department two years ago, which has seen talented youngsters Troy Menzel, Nick Graham and Patrick Cripps all recruited under Rogers’ watch.

Carlton’s Football Operations Manager Andrew McKay says he’s delighted that Rogers has agreed to terms.

“Shane has proven he has a genuine eye for talent and we believe he is the right man to take our talent pool forward,” McKay said.

“He is also someone who deeply cares about our club and its players.

“Having Shane re-commit effectively means long-term stability for our recruiting department, which we will now look to bolster with Shane at the helm.”
