Early last month the Carlton Football Club invited members to consider nominating for the Club’s new Member Council.

A new initiative, the Council will be comprised of 10 members and will be trialled for an initial period of two years.

After consultation between president Mark LoGuidice and senior management from the Blues’ membership team, 10 members have been shortlisted to be selected for the council. This follows three rounds of consultation, where some members were asked to provide further information for their application.

The selections were based on skills and merit, and the representatives are being appointed for a one-year term.

In the coming weeks we will detail more information on Carlton’s Member Council and how you can engage with it.

With over 500 applications, the Club is looking forward to announcing the successful candidates of the Member Council early next week.
