Over 750 prominent businessmen and women gathered at Crown Palladium on Friday afternoon for the inaugural Carlton IN Business luncheon.

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews took part in the proceedings as the first official guest speaker, with MPs from across Victoria also in attendance at the event.

Proudly presented by helloworld for Business, Carlton IN Business has extraordinary reach in the business world and is a structured program designed to integrate the Carlton network.

Over 70 companies have signed up to the inaugural Carlton IN Business program including leading multinational companies including ANZ, PwC, KPMG, EY and Spotlight as well as Carlton’s co-major partners Hyundai and CareerOne.

Emceed by sports presenter Jason Richardson, the distinguished event was a clear demonstration of the Carlton Football Club boasting one of the biggest business networks in Australian sport.

Earlier in the week, Carlton announced naming rights partner of Carlton IN Business Helloworld for business  – an integrated travel service provider offering retail, wholesale, corporate, inbound and tour operating businesses in Australia, New Zealand, South Pacific, Asia and around the world.

As the club’s new official travel partner, helloworld for business members now have unparalleled acess to Carlton’s prestigious corporate program.

Carlton CEO Steven Trigg says this partnership provides many benefits for Carlton IN Business members, as well as its corporate partners.

“By aligning ourselves with helloworld for business, we know we’re building relationships with experts in the travel business,” Trigg said.

“We’re delighted Carlton IN Business members will now have access to exclusive benefits across corporate and leisure travel.

“We look forward to working with helloworld for business and Helloworld, maximising the benefits for our members, our corporate partners and for Helloworld.”

Helloworld CEO Andrew Burnes said the partnership means helloworld for business members will have direct and ongoing access to key Australian companies as well as Carlton’s impressive list of corporate partners.

“The Carlton IN Business sponsorship gives our helloworld for business members direct access to the Who’s Who of Australian business as well as to Carlton’s corporate partners,” Mr Burnes said.

“This is a powerful and unique platform for our helloworld for business members to network with a distinguished membership base. Carlton has extraordinary reach into the business world and the Carlton IN Business calendar enables our helloworld for business members to leverage the Carlton network, cultivate relationships and facilitate real business opportunities.”

In January 2016, the Carlton Football Club, in its bold and committed bid to regaining its status as “best in the business”, established a new corporate program designed to help realise that goal.

The inaugural Carlton IN Business program is a structured program designed to integrate the Club’s network, cultivate relationships and significantly facilitate genuine business opportunities as the Blues build on their already extensive links with the business hub.
