The Carlton Football Club began the first leg of its journey under senior coach Brendon Bolton in 2016.

After notching up seven wins for the season – three more than last year – the Blues ended up finishing 14^th on the ladder.

With the team now on a break, we’re taking a look back at each player’s year in statistics. Here’s the review for Carlton’s No. 22, Jason Tutt:

OVERVIEW

Although Tutt only managed one senior game this season, the speedy midfielder played an important role in the Northern Blues VFL side.

He ran out for Northern on 14 occasions and averaged nearly 27 possessions per game, ranking him second at the Club for average disposals behind hardnut Nick Graham.

Tutt was recalled to the senior team for Round 14’s clash with GWS. He gathered 18 disposals, including 10 kicks, four tackles and even slotted a goal.

SEASON HIGHLIGHT

In the Round 7 win against Coburg Tutt amassed a whopping 37 disposals and kicked three goals. His 24 kicks against the Lions was a competition-high for the round.
