The Blues will blood their latest debutant on Sunday after Tom Williamson was named in Carlton’s final side for the clash against Essendon at the MCG.

The former North Ballarat midfielder was taken with pick No.61 in the 2016 NAB AFL National Draft, and has impressed on the track with his excellent endurance and speed.

Sam Kerridge also comes in to the side, while Dennis Armfield and Billie Smedts have both been omitted. 

The 18-year-old joins Samo Petrevski-Seton, Harrison Macreadie and Jarrod Pickett as the Blues’ latest debutants in the first three games this year. 

The Blues do battle against arch-rival Essendon at the MCG on Sunday afternoon, with the bounce at 3:20pm AEST.
