MILESTONE: KADE SIMPSON

Defender Kade Simpson will play his 300th AFL game this Saturday against Port Adelaide at the MCG. A true champion of the Carlton Football Club, ‘Simmo’ becomes only the fifth player in Blues’ history to record 300 games, joining Craig Bradley (375), Bruce Doull (356), John Nicholls (328) and Stephen Silvagni (312). Selected with pick No. 45 in the 2002 national draft, Simpson won the Club’s best and fairest in 2013 and is in the Blues’ leadership group.

VALE: KEITH WARBURTON

The Carlton players will wear black armbands on Saturday to honour the memory of Keith Warburton - a 74-game centreman/half-forward in five seasons with the club who died this week at the age of 90.

Keith won Carlton’s goalkicking award with 34 goals in his maiden season of ’51 and represented Victoria the following year.

KADE SIMPSON BOBBLEHEAD

Members and supporters will have the opportunity to collect the Blues’ little warrior at the MCG this Saturday, with ‘Simmo’ becoming the next figure in Carlton’s Hyundai bobblehead collection. For all the details, click here.

SIMMO 300 GUERNSEY

To mark Kade Simpson’s 300th game, every Carlton player will run out wearing a limited-edition guernsey this weekend against Port. Reminiscent of the jumper worn by Stephen Silvagni when he recorded his 300th game for Carlton, the No. 300 will sit proudly under the iconic Nike swoosh to commemorate Simpson’s achievement. Fans will have the chance to purchase a match-worn jumper via the Club’s auction site after the game. For more details, click here.

SIMMO300 FAN SIGNS

Show your support for ‘Simmo’ and collect a free #Simmo300 fan sign at this weekend’s game. Thousands will be given away at Gates 1, 3 and 5, so make sure you pick one up and wave it during the game. Keep your eyes peeled for people also giving them away on the concourse.

Beanies, t-shirts, can coolers and mugs, Carlton has a wide variety of #Simmo300 merchandise available for fans to purchase. Make sure you head to the MCG’s Superstore or outlets around the ground to view the range. Don’t forget you can also shop online by visiting The Carlton Shop.
