CARLTON Football Club has made four changes to its list following the conclusion of the 2018 NAB AFL Trade Period.

Sam Rowe, Jed Lamb, Sam Kerridge and Nick Graham have been told they will not be offered new contracts next season.

Rowe’s AFL career was one of persistence and determination. Before arriving at the Blues via the 2011 national draft, the 30-year-old had played four seasons for Norwood in the SANFL and had previously been rookie-listed by the Swans.

Taking home the Club’s Most Improved Player Award in 2014, Rowe became a valuable defender and much-loved clubman over the course of seven seasons.

Traded to the Blues from the Giants at the end of 2015, Carlton marked Lamb’s third club after initially being recruited to the Swans with pick No.21 in the 2010 national draft. Playing as a small forward, he notched up 29 games for the Blues, taking him to 66 career games overall.

Also arriving at Ikon Park at the end of 2015 from the Adelaide Crows, Kerridge recorded 42 games for the Blues, while Graham played 48 senior matches across six seasons at Carlton.

Head of Football Brad Lloyd thanked the players for their service to the Club.

“On behalf of the Carlton Football Club I’d like to sincerely thank Sam, Jed, Sam and Nick for their contribution, commitment and professionalism throughout their time at the Blues,” Lloyd said.

“Sam Rowe has been a wonderful player and clubman since he arrived at the Club and has overcome his fair share of adversity in that time. The perseverance and resilience he’s shown has made a tremendous impact on our developing playing group.

“Jed and Sam Kerridge are both terrific young men and have been valuable contributors to the side since arriving at Ikon Park at the end of 2015.

“As a respected member of the squad, Nick has consistently held himself to high standards around the club and has always played his role for the team.

“Sam, Jed, Nick and Sam will always be Carlton people and we wish them all the best for the future.”

Lamb has been invited to train with the playing group at the start of the pre-season with the potential to be listed by the Club later this year.

The list changes follow the recent retirements of Ciaran Byrne, Cillian McDaid, Matthew Wright and Alex Silvagni.

Meanwhile, rookie Kym Lebois has signed a new one-year contract, keeping him on the rookie list until the end of the 2019 season.
